Long before the official establishment of our council, the land was already alive with purpose, tradition, and the spirit of community. Nestled among gentle hills, fertile valleys, and flowing rivers, our people lived in harmony with nature and one another. Villages cooperated in farming, hunting, spiritual practices, and traditional governance under the wisdom of elders and chiefs. The communal spirit ran deep — every harvest, every birth, and every challenge was shared.
With time, the pressures of modernization, population growth, and shifting economic dynamics revealed a need for more structured and inclusive governance. Roads were needed to connect farms to markets. Health posts needed support. Schools longed for better classrooms. The people had grown more interconnected, and the responsibilities too large for a single village or chiefdom to carry alone.
It was in this spirit of unity and forward-thinking that voices began to rise — from farmers and traders, teachers and traditional rulers — calling for the creation of a common administrative structure. After consultations, community meetings, and collaboration between local leaders and the government, a consensus was reached. The birth of a council became not just an administrative formality, but a milestone in the journey toward shared development.
And so, the Council was created — not merely as an office, but as a vessel of hope, a home for participatory development, and a symbol of collective identity. It brought together diverse villages, tribes, and customs under one banner, while respecting the uniqueness of each.
Today, our council stands as a testament to what can be achieved when communities take charge of their future. From the elders who shaped its foundation, to the youth driving innovation today, the spirit of cooperation remains our guiding light. Our mission continues: to build a healthier, more educated, economically vibrant, and culturally rich society — one decision, one project, and one generation at a time.
This is our story. And every day, we write the next chapter — together.
